Hi!
One of my friends wants to put some rapid adjustmentr turrets on his Bushnell Elite 4200 because he shoots coyotes at various ranges and need a way to alter rapidly his windage and elevation settings.
Where can he find these things?

I only know of Stoney Point, http://www.stoneypoint.com/target_knobs_index.html but don't know if they make them for bushnells or not.
I have tried the above on a Leupold, and didn't care for them. There is no positive 'click', and the adjustment hash marks do not necessarily follow a decernable measurement.
I opted to send the scope in and put factory turrets on instead.
If I couldn't get oem turrets on the scope you described, I would sell it and buy one that has them.

Unless you can adapt a Stoney point (doubt it), you are SOL. Bushnell made them for a bit but this was discontinued a while ago. Check ebay or bushnell.

Excellent scope though. I had some of these turrents on the same scope and it worked flawlessly. Sorry, gone to a new home.

Are the Stoney Point turrets usefull in the field, or do they move very easily, causing an unanticipated POI change?

Any exposed turrent runs the risk of being moved by accident. Just keep an eye on the zero mark. The turrent will move as easily as the orig hand or coin turned turrent.

The turrents are also limited to one revolution maybe a bit more. You can get 'lost' because there is other reference marks as on a real target turrent.
