hand guard options for a VZ58?

What options are there for the front hand guards? I was hoping there was something synthetic to replace the wood type ones. I've seen the rail system on vz58.net, but thats a little much.... Any other options that people have found? Thanks.
 
If it is merely the look you are going for, paint the wood with bedliner. It really makes the rifle look different. Here's a shot of mine:

I am sure I am one of the few that actually like the stock "wood" with the vz/cz.
It reminds me of bakelight and has that retro look to it. When I see these black ones however, I think I need 2. :D
 
^ yes that pistol grip is larger then original if you have big hands its nice..

I also find the OEM pistol girp alittle on the small side. I am considering getting the same grip from Palinak sometime in January.

It is a little larger....but the fit and feel of this grip, makes you feel like that gun was born in your hand....The pistol grip alone, is well worth every penny.

The buttstock is the original, I just painted it after I sanded the hell out of it. I used Tremclad flat black textured spray paint (4 coats) and the finish matches the pistol grip perfectly.

I also parkerized the spare buttplate and use that one.
