I bolted this one to my nightstand. Easily fits a G19 and two mags. I have had for about a month and I like it so far

Does a Stack On cabinet count as a safe in the Firearms Act?
Which size did you go with?
Thanks I was going to ask as wellThe smaller 9x6.7" for 54 bucks

Are those inside measurements or the outside size?

Have two of these:

Highly recommended. Can open them in the dark simply by feel - very large tactile button controls for opening.
Internal light once open which also helps..
Well made, and reliable.
10 seconds from "what was that noise" to loaded and racked - Legally!
Is that considered as a "safe" or a "cabinet" . Just asking with regards to needing trigger locks.
It is engineered and designed to be a gun vault, and appropriately named.
Thus no trigger lock, and full mags inside are Legal - and meet - to the letter - the Canadian Restricted Storage Requirements.

They can call it what ever they want, that has exactly no bearing on the law.
If its metal and locks its a safe under the law.

lets not get into that debate. arguing about the legality of using minimal storage and security provisions in a public forum at a time when many are looking to clamp down is just dumb. anyway there are bigger fish to fry at this point, detracting from the gun control issue.
