hand priming tools options

so my small primer rod doesnt bottom out. primers seat fully and are nice. (first time trying to reload small primer 45acp. the large primer rod bottoms out and doesnt fully seat the primer.

can someone please take their calipers to the large primer rod so we can compare. Maybe I just got a short large primer rod? 1.858 inched. Is this right?

Doesn't get any better no matter where you are....call or email them, it will get rectified. RCBS customer support is legendary.
