Handgrip for Stag Arms Model 8 Piston Impingement AR

Hello CGN's,

Can anybody offer me any information or advise, I have a Stag Arms Model 8 Piston Impingement AR and i want to swap out the handguard/forend but am having trouble finding one that will fit over the piston tube.

I know i will have to expand the opening to fit the larger tube but all the handguards i have seen do not have enough clearance under the top rail even with an enlarged front opening.

The Magpul MOE handguard looks like it would work from the online pictures but i can't find one in a local store to look at.

Any idea's?

Daniel defence makes a piston compatible rail system.

Arms East sells the Midwest Industries MWMCTAR20P for $225 and the Daniel Defence Piston Omega Rail for $305.

Both fit the Model 8, both in stock.
