I was impressed by the extra momentum the .40 S&W in comparison with the .45 and the extra damage it did compared to the 9mm. Guess that's why the cops use it, b/c it's a nice balance between the two?

Ya compared to a rifle, they are pretty pathetic.

I was a little surprised at the .22 though. I expected it to pass straight through like an arrow.

I liked the one comment asking how much it would cost to do similar tests , and the answer being 25$ for the gel and 110 000 for the camera. Those highspeeds are pretty impressive

Actually.. Just for Sh!ts and giggles I looked to see what a camera capable of this would cost.

You can actually buy a Casio EX-F1 that is capable of 1200 frames per second. It only costs about $1000. It has low resolution but would probably be suitable for this..

Yeah, and considering that it's a 22 caliber 55 grain Accelerator, imagine what a real 30-06 round would do...
