Handgun Scope On S&W 617

I am considering putting a telescopic scope on my S&W 617 (10 shot .22LR) revolver. A red dot optic is my fall-back choice.

I do not holster-carry this firearm. I primarily shoot metal silhouette targets.

For those that have already gone the telescopic route with this firearm . . . . any advice?

Get yourself the bridge or mount and put whatever sight you like on it and go out and have a lot of fun shooting it.
