Please note that once a restricted transfer is initiated the sale is considered final. A few guys have been trying to swap out and while we dis a few earlier, we simply cannot do this anymore. We are barely keeping up as it is and it is next to impossible for us to call the CFC and cancel an application. We cannot do a cancelation online. Also, if the legislation becomes law, we would then be stuck with a handgun we cannot sell to another client. Please do not purchase until you are sure you want the item if it is a handgun!

No way they are closing, they have sold 1000s of handguns in the past month. Every retailer is saying this. The issue is people buy something in a panic, a transfer is started and then they wait and wait and something else shiny pops up and they want to cancel the first transfer and buy something else. Transfers cannot be cancelled in the portal only by phone so all the retailers are saying this because its a mess calling the RCMP.
