Just bought a Springfield XD in 357 Sig. Anyone reloading this cal. I've never reloaded for a necked cartridge, people now tell me there are alot of problems reloading this round. HELP

you just like odd caliberes don't you ;)

sorry I don't think I can help you there  try doing a search (yahoo, google) on the net I'm sure you'll get some info that way...

I reloaded 400 Cor-bon and it was a bit of a pain... But it was more because of the scarcity of good loading data and good bullets for the task... I worked one up myself.. Biggest issues are making sure the bottleneck is not adjusted in any of your stations and that you bell well enough and don't crimp to hard to deform the case...

you can use 9mm bullets in 357 sig and I have some good ones for the task.. I've just bought a new glock in 357 sig so I'll lset you know how it works out... My gun is ported so something tells me it might get a bit loud :) :) :) ..

did someone in the back grunt?

I've have recently bought a Lee factory crimp die for the 357 Sig, however, never used it yet. My first crack at loading this round, was not successful as the bullet pushed into the case, thus the reason for purchasing the FCD. I hope to get at in in the near future to see how I make out

Hey Bear, glad to see I'm not the only one that wants to try this calibre. Did you check out the Springfield XD with the ported barrel? Very mean looking, but nice. Let me know how you make out.

Well I've had the carbide dies for a while... Ordered them by mistake and have had them for about 2 years.. so I might as well buy them and something to use them with....

I've ordered a Glock 33 (sub compact) with a ported 108 mm barrel should look like this... Only a little more barrel sticking out....

Nice looking firearm bear, hope you enjoy it. Always nice to get a new toy. Thanks everyone for your info on the 357 sig load, I found an article from American Riflemans Sept 1999 by Charles E. Petty and it gives a lot of info on how to load this round. Thanks again
