I just came across this link. It is an excellent tool for calculating optimum bullet length, velocity and twist rate. If you haven't seen it already and do not have a program of your own, I would highly recommend it.
My bullet at .736in in length, with a 1:14 twist, optimum velocity appears to be around 3500, using 10.7 factor for copper coated lead bullet. This tells me to use around 35gr of Varget for a 55gr bullet. Great tool!\
Anyone else have free calculating tools to recommend? I have seen JBM as well.
