Well i picked up another 10/22 after selling off my last two even though they shot great. I put a Butler Creek Folder on it and bought a couple steel lips 25 rounders. It jammed on Federals, and Winchester Dynapoints. Today i headed out with a brick of CCI Velocitors. This thing just plain shoots now. Really happy with the CCI's!!:shotgun:

Sounds great!

Great to have a round that has that much velocity/energy for hunting but retains accuracy. Just curious, what kind of groups were you getting with this set up?

Velocitors are the #### when it comes to 22lr.

Even target rounds don't offer much better accuracy in my 10/22. Not to mention the fact that it gives a more satisfying thump into gophers. Or the fact that they are pretty clean burning too so a day in the field doesn't end early due to fouling.

I'd also like to see some pics of your rig. It sounds pretty sweet.

CZ, at 25 yards holes touch. At 50 they open to 1/2" I can live with that. Its just a gun that i can keep in the jeep while hunting to bring some grouse home. I have always been a fan of .22's for chickens rather than shotties. And the folding stock is very handy. Ryan at P&D warned me when i bought it that we should get em while we can as they aren't coming in anymore.

Thats definately quite good for that set up! I also found that Winchester powerpoints were very acccurate and reliable out of my CZ and 10/22 but unfortunately it is very hard to find them anymore.

not sure where on the island you are but i think you just need to look harder:D

I havn't searched for a couple months now so maybe they are back ;). I remember I could find other super-X rounds such as the hollow points at Canadian tire but not the powerpoints.

In the mean time I have found other ammo to replace it (Federal bulk pack; not quite as accurate but cheaper).
