I just wanted to say thanks to Daniel and the fine folks at Wanstalls. I was looking at the Robinson Armament XCR-M and Daniel had my questions answered quickly and honestly and a new "toy" in my hands in no time. I've bought several higher end items (including custom US Optics) from this fantastic company and can say that with customer service and attention to detail like theirs I will be back for more. I have purchased from most if not all of the sponsors here and although they are all pretty great, these guys are a cut above. This may all go without saying but when folks take care of people the way that Wanstalls does, they deserve a little recognition. Oh and Daniel deserves a raise :D .

Cheers, and all the best in the new year.

Agreed! They have been excellent to deal with on the 2 purchases I have made with them this year...a GSG and a SR9. Also wanting a XCR-M...need to start saving up.

Frosty what's it shoot like? I noticed on the page it has semi-ambidextrous...not quite sure what the semi part means. I know I feel more comfortable with having a pistol in my left, but rifle in my right.

I haven't had mine to to the range yet but I did have the chance to shoot a friends XCR-M in the fall and it was shooting MOA when we did our part. The companies literature even states that it's not intended to be a competition rifle. It felt very comfortable in the hand, with a weight that reassured you that you were holding a rifle and not a plastic "toy".
As far as semi-ambi, I would say that the only reason that it isn't fully ambi is because the ejection port can't be switched. The location of all of the controls is very intuitive and comfortable to manipulate. The trigger is a very nice two stage with a smooth first stage and a crisp second.
If you're seriously considering buying one of these I can say that you won't regret it. Your wallet may flinch a little but once you hold it, it will all be worth it. Just my two cents worth.
