I picked up my Norinco HP-9 at the post office on Tuesday, and this is the best christmas present I never got.
Thanks Frontier Firearms.
I ordered it during the xmas break and they shipped it out Jan 5th, it was at my place in 5 days. I ordered My M14 from them a few years ago and I was pretty happy with that thing. The look and finish of this shotgun is amazing compared to my gritty(yet lovable) M14
I cleaned it up and then took it to the range yesterday and it functions perfectly. I put about 40 rounds through it, a good mix of bird, buck and slugs Triple buck is definitely the way to go with this thing

I wish the Rem express had that finish out of the box. Still theres something holding me back from buying a Hp-9 instead of saving up for(and trying to find) the police 870. I guess its the same reason I own a Harley instead of a Yamaha. Despite my friends being perfectly happy with there yammeys for a fraction of the price.

Frontier is awesome. Their service and speed is top notch. I ordered a Sig Mosquito .22lr for my mother-in-law for Xmas. I ordered it on Monday and had it by Thursday. Very friendly folks, awesome prices too.
