Hey guys!
Well after putting a bunch of money to the side, I finally purchased a pistol that I've wanted for a LONG TIME. 4 years ago I had to sell my Norc 1911 and M&P40 to fund a move then we had a baby. Last winter I really missed getting out shooting so I figured the time was right to get back into it. Now that our son is 3, the missus gave me the go ahead to purchase another pistol. I figured if I was only getting one for the next little while I might as well save up and do it right the first time.

I found a great deal on the EE. Previous owner had only shot 200 rounds through it. So here she is.

My new Sig Sauer 226 Tactical Operations chambered in 40S&W.
So far I love the feel and balance of the gun. I also really like the Trijicon HD night sights that were put on. The SRT is pretty sweet too. All in all I'm very pleased with my purchase. I look forward to getting my ATT and getting back in the swing of things!!
Thanks for reading my story!

I also found an IMI Defense holster that I really liked for it and it fits like a glove

Any day that you get a new gun is a great day! I owned a .40 P266 that I really liked—I'm sure you'll enjoy yours a lot!

That's kinda #####in'.

Of course for me I'd dump the laser and the extended grip jazz. The whole point of a compact pistol IS to be compact, otherwise go full size.

JMO.

I agree about the laser but it came with the package. I actually like the extended grips and I don't think the 226 was ever meant to be a compact. I always though it was a full size duty pistol.
