So, in addition to my post in the target forum, I thought I would post in here .
I recently bought a new 6.5 CM for long range (for
Me) shooting.
On top , I bought a new Delta Stryker from Hirsch Precision. Had a talk with the owner , and based on my needs , he directed me towards this glass
To say the least, I am very pleased
This is a budget gun, so cost was important.
I had, in the past, owned a NF BR32 on another rifle , and was generally happy with it
But this scope , to my eyes, is better in a few ways. At full magnification, both are dark, but at lower powers, the Delta is noticeably brighter. The eye box is tighter , though
The biggest optical difference , however, is the chromatic aberration. The NF was really noticeably runny with its colors at long range. The Delta has a slight bit, but not as bad
Controls on the Delta are a tad stiffer as well
But these are nit pics. I am really happy with it , and the guidance from the dealer. Well done.
