i see "wolfbullets.com" has cast lead bullets for around $65/1000 has anyone tried these? how do they shoot and do you have any problems with elad fouling in 9mm?

I had never heard of these guys before your post, but they seem to be committed to the customer! Offering custom sized bullets is something I haven't seen before. Someone who knows more about casting lead bullets might be able to offer their opinion on the %'s of metals.

Been using cast bullets out of my Inglis BHP for eons with Bullseye. Rumour has it that Glocks don't like cast bullets though.

I put thousands of lead bullets through my Glock 17, BHP,Ruger P89 and CZ75, never had a problem. I always run my reloaded round through a 1*lee loaded round resizer*. As for leading, never had a problem either.

sweet i was jsut informed that my relaoding quitment i ordered from cabelas winnipeg (lee classic kit,lee shell holder kit, .303,9mm,.233 dies, hornady manual) all of which is abckorded and it says "60+" days on the back order notice so looks like i won't be reloading for awile....i may order some cast lead from woldf bullets tho and i will let everyone know how they shoot this summer:mad:

BTW, im shooting them out of my S&W M&P 9mm

Wolf's a great guy, easy to work with, uses only virgin metal and the bullets are great (using the 147's, .38 148gr, 45 200gr). No leading issues to speak of.. clean every 500-750 rounds and the grooves are just fine..

Be sure to clean your firearms very carefully when using Wolf bullets; the lube he uses makes one heck of a mess. I had my Beretta 92 constantly misfeed after abotu 200 rounds from Wolf; if he clean after every range session (get under the extractor) you should have no problems.
