Cut the bottom off an Hodgdon or IMR 1 lb powder bottle and threads fit right on the measure. I find it is a better option than the dinky Nalgene bottle that comes with it.

Why cut the bottom of the jug off? The measure is light enough to invert and screw bottle off. Invert measure to screw next product bottle on.

Exactly! It wasn't a coincidence that the Harrell was designed with that thread size.

Sinclair s also offer adapters to fir Lyman, RCBS and Redding measures as well.

I have this same powder measure. Maybe its just me, but I cannot get it to be consistent. I have mainly tried it for my PPC's with H322 powder.
It will throw 3-4 equal charges then one or two that are light or heavy. I like using it for quicker reloading, compared to using the RCBS ChargeMaster, but the inconsistency of the charges bothers me.
Could anyone throw me some tips, is it possibly my technique? I try to throw the lever consistent but still have issues.

Sorry if this is hi-jacking, (let me know if I should start another thread) the OP has pointed out a great discovery that I was previously unaware of. Thanks for the tip.

No problem. Your comment is much welcomed. I do believe on the Harrell web page they have tips there on consistent powder charge throws. What powder do you have the most problem with? I find H-4831 can be fussy even in the Harrell.

H322 mainly, only due to the fact this is the only powder I have tried in it. You wouldn't think H322 would be hard to throw, as it is nice and fine. I will check out the website to see what tips I can find.

Edit** I forgot to mention in my first post and this one, I don't think my problem with the Harrel is in any way related to the equipment. I'm sure its operator error. The Harrel Powder Measure is a very nice piece of equipment.
