harris bipod

Does anyone know where to buy Harris bipods in Canada? And what kind of parts are needed to install one on an M14/M305, on the stock?

I'm not familiar with mounting them on the M-305, but they are usually avail at most sporting goods/gun shops. SIR in Winnipeg, Wholesale Sports in Edmonton, Bass Pro should have them in Vaughn, Ellwood Epps in Orillia, etc.....

I have mine mounted to a rail. I think AAC (Advanced Armament Corp.) makes it. I got it from Turf here on CGN so maybe he would know more about it.

Inlet the stock (under the barrel channel), at the drain hole, for a #2R Harriss Bipod adaptor and glass into place. Istall the stud from the underside.

Thanks for the info, I had the same problem

"I had found that there was metal contact between the Op Rod Guide and the Harris stud flange on the inside of the stock"

I guess I will have to cut out a small section to prevent any contact.

To mount the stud on my M305, I used the harris adapter for the AR-15. It required a bit of inletting, but the overall fit is awesome. I epoxied it in place and it's like a rock.

Whatever you mount, you'll probably need to inlet it a bit to prevent contact with your op-rod.
