Harsh reality here... Super B vs Colt Competition...

A couple days ago, i was at the range with another member both were shooting, 9mm pistol, his was a brand new Colt Competition 9mm and myself was shooting both my Super B...

All thogether we shot 600 rounds minimun, exchanging our pistols along the way, after our shooting was over my friend and i totally agreed that the Super B was more reliable, equally accurate and no noticeable difference in trigger smoothnest...

Yeah, that's why I built one into an ISSF match pistol thirty odd years ago. Then stupidly sold it! Damn I'd like it back. Somewhere a Super B with Bowmar sights, match bushing and superb trigger is hiding out there. Maybe not as good as some of the later ones I built but far superior to anything directly out of a factory.

I haven't put a ton of round through mine, maybe 13-1400, but it has been 100% reliable, and more that decently accurate for a surplus service pistol with piddly sights. I quite like it, and it looks nice.
