Has anybody hunted Beverly Swamp?

This one goes out to all the old hands out there. I was given a tip by a stranger that hunting was allowed in Beverly Swamp in Hamilton Conservation Authority. It's number 11 in the hunting regs., so I know it's kosher to hunt there. My question is has anybody done it? What should I be made aware of? Some of my preliminary research says it's pretty dicey on opening day, and waders or a watercraft are a must. Any insight?

Scouted the swamp when I used to live in Hamilton. You need to check in with the individual conservation authority before hunting there. You need to call the Hamilton Conservation Authority as they manage it and can email you a map showing all the huntable area.

Was there a few weeks ago, shotguns muzzle loaders only. Hunting is permitted within boundaries of Beverly swamp.

Hint: parcel of crown land is not too far from there, firearm use as regulated by provincial and federal law.
Took my first eating squirrel there week ago Sunday.
