has anyone built a ruger 10 22 with a FS556 kit? if so pics please.

hi i purchased a FS556 body and float tube for my 10 22 build and just need a barrel and a butt stock to complete i wanted to see some pics of finished builds to have a idea what my own would look like and if anyone had any problems they encountered along the way. any advice aswell as pics would be great. thanks.
 
There are quite a few FS556 threads if you go digging a bit. It is a great looking kit and feels solid. My biggest complaint is the time it takes to take everything apart when it comes time to clean my 10/22. The rail width is just a hair under spec so I used a couple short lengths of electrical tape on the rail for the Aimpoint clone and rear BUIS mount so they snug up nicely. Other that, I've had no major negative issues. The fit and finish is nice and with a quad rail float tube, the possibilities are endless. Here's mine:

can you get something to close up the gap between the float tube and the barrel? Not necessarily touching the barrel, but just to close it up a little??

Well...Fabrice has an unfair advantage!
