Has anyone else have issues with Lee breech Lock Pro?

I purchased a Lee Breech Lock pro, and it's been nothing but issues. They re designed how the carrier goes on the ram, and uses a internal 1/4" thru hex nut/bolt I dunno, that also allows the primers to pass. Broke a few 1/4" hex keys. 350ft lbs of torque, wouldn't even budge, till it rounded it off.

The spring holder for the case feeder always bends, the case extractor always pops off, the thing always jams. I only bought it because it had the simple primer system on it, over the Pro 1000.

Broken bit in it. It's not that oily when I use it, trying to get the whatever holds it on free. They should have kept the pinch bolt setup.

So has anyone else get fed up with theirs?

I have no idea what you're doing to break hex keys but I have run mine for well over a year and about 5000 rounds with virtually no issues. Not sure what you mean by "...internal 1/4" thru hex nut/bolt I dunno, that also allows the primers to pass". The primers drop through the sizing/depriming station into a tube that holds them for disposal and has nothing to do with the internal 1/4" hex nut.

The plastic hook that holds the case feed spring did rotate on the vertical support shaft but when I called Lee they told me they would send me a new support shaft that is knurled so the hook won't move. Other than that I've had no issues. You do have to take the shell plate off occasionally to clean under it (even ignoring the oil yours looks filthy) and lube the ram and linkage periodically. How did you get all the gouges in the case feed ramp? Mine is still as smooth as the day I bought it. Do you have the case feed assembly set up properly? Just a penny thickness between the mouth of the case and the bottom of the case feed slider. Might be a good idea to re-read the setup instructions.

Yes the primers goes thru that passage way with the broken bit inside ( my picture ) Because I have to use a pick and push primers down the hole. Which is also a hex shape for a 1/4" hex key ( That's how you get the carrier off the ram ) Like the shell plate holder.

As you see by the YT screen shots, the hex key is used to loosen a nut that expands a collar on the ram.

It's oily because I was trying to use penetrating oil to remove the nut. But I use black graphite lube, so that's why you think its filthy. I remove the shell plate often to clean, normally
jammed up primers. I wanted to take it apart because the detent ball was sticking down.

Gouged on the case feeder ramp are from the cheater bar. Which is a 2ft threaded pipe. Had nothing to due with the setup of the case feeder.

But this press has nothing been issues since I got it. Either way, if the nut wasn't seized, it wouldn't have damaged more.

I tried to correct an alignment issue when I got mine. The pilot was not entering the carrier smoothly on the upstroke of the handle.

I attempted to loosen the hex so I could tweak the carrier but it was a real female dog to loosen. I was concerned about rounding/breaking something so I stopped before anything bad happened. I talked with a tech at Lee and he told me it was assembled with an impact gun.

I gave up and I just put a lead-in on the pilot. Some grease too. It’s not a Rolex but it works well enough for my needs.

Try contacting Lee.

At least someone else understands what I'm talking about. Yeah I contacted Lee and opened a ticket. But I used a impact and a breaker bar. I couldn't get that bastard loose. Unfortunately I went beyond bad. Since its put on by a Impact, Ill mod a screw driver, to just take the screws out from the bottom. Thanks.
