Has anyone had trouble with there Swarovski 8X30 range finder

I bought a Swarovski range finder in aug and I havent had much luck with it after I range a few times it cuts off and I have to take the battery out in order to get it to work and I never get more then 50 or ranges befor the battery dies I sent it out for warrenty work yesterday pretty bad time of year for it to give out. just woundering if anyone else has had trouble like this :confused:

when I payed 1200 for the range finder figured I had bough a pretty god unit hopefully they will be able to get it figured out and have back in time for the caribou
