Has anyone installed QD sockets in the existing holes on the Derya TM22 stock?

I'm looking to find some QD sockets to install in the pre-existing holes on the Derya TM22 adjustable stock. I had assumed they were standardized and that any sockets would work, but now I'm not so sure. I was considering the Magpul 2 piece kit for ambi sockets (mag332 and mag333) but Magpul says they will only work on Magpul stocks.

Anyone try these on their Derya? Are Magpul just covering their butts or do the external dimensions of QD sockets actually vary?

I'm unable to answer your question as it pertains to your specific Derya rifle stock and Magpul's QD cups. I would say that there are different standards (and some variations) in QD sizing and therefore also QD cups themselves. To my knowledge, 'traditional' positional target shooting equipment uses a slightly larger QD that does not fit in the more common/modern 'tactical' styles.

IIRC, the modern glue-in QD cups like the Magpuls are 0.5" hole sizing and screw-in QD cups need to be tapped for a 9/16" hole size but both of them use the same QD.
