Has anyone put a precision rifle barrel on a Mossberg action?

I have no doubt that you could find someone who would cheerfully trade you a Savage action for a Model 70 action.
 
I recently lost out on a money losing sale.. to a friend.. because he grabbed a mossberg 223 on sale for a blow out price. I was practically giving him a m700 to get started. So I would be interested in the performance of a moss berg bolt action with an upgraded barrel. Maybe..

alot of talk not alot of pictures of peoples groups, not saying there are not better rifles out there but they are very capable.

yes i know my standard deviation is really ####ty but my bullets were running out of steam at 500 @ 600 there were subsonic and not registering, switching to 69 gr bthp this year

I'm also the proud owner of an MVP. I bought mine when they were cheap in 2013. The only real gripe is a sloppy bolt but no complaints accuracy wise and the rest of the fit and finish is top notch for what I paid for it. Magazine is sloppy as well but I rarely feed from it as my favourite hand loads are too long. I was trying to get up on the 5x5 under half forum with it but it still chasing.
