Has anyone here read any of the following books?

- Tactical Pistol Shooting: Your Guide to Tactics that Work
- Tactical Pistol Marksmanship: How to Improve Your Combat Shooting Skills
- Surgical Speed Shooting: How to Achieve High-Speed Marksmanship in a Gunfight
- Gun Digest Book Of Combat Handgunnery

If so are they any good? I really can't afford a trainer (I don't really think there even ARE any around here anyways), so I am looking for a really good book that covers everything from the basics (the different stances, posture, breathing, grip) to semi advanced stuff (rapid fire, trigger reset, double taps, etc). I don't want a book with a lot dedicated to CCW and US Laws as that is useless to me.

Can anyone recommend a book?

Technical manuals are great for understanding the mechanics of how and why but will never replace range time and quality professional training.

look up Todd Jarrett's videos on youtube and google,..there is a ton of information there... Also USAMU has some tips on youtube as well.

and SEEING how it's done does far more good than READING about it- i have several texts( ie how to books)on various subjuects, but i'll take a video every time
