Has anyone tried these targets with anything other than 22LR?

I just picked one up for a bachelor party I'm planning for a buddie of mine and was wondering if anyone had tried them with either .38 or 9mm. They look pretty solid but i'm not sure how solid. Says on the box that it's for 22 and 17 but I want to use it with 9mm.

Sounds like a party...hope it is at an approved range...Oh and speaking of range it should be set up at least 50 yards to minimise the chance of a ricochet killing one of your guests.

Yes, it bends them up. I hit dead centre of one with a .40 and it made a nice little dish.

Afterwards, with a bunch of heat, small sledge hammer, and a bit of work they can be straightened.............sort of....

really? if you can get a richochet off that with a centerfire pistol, better buy a lottery ticket, you will destroy it though. dumped thousands of rounds of 22 into them over the years, have yet to see anything like a ricochet, even from strikes on the center support....wear glasses incase of spatter and have at it...but 9 mm will kill it, they make a centerfire version thats good for 9

if those are solid forget it. a close range 9 will destroy it and splatter back at you with risk of injury. dont do it.

Mine isn't the exact same model, but would guess the metal would be the same-ish. I've hit mine with 38 + 41 but no holes only dents. I found the " Do All " (plastic/rubber mix) targets more fun.
