Has anyone tried this adjustment on a Jw15A trigger?

I have the Jw15a backpacker , and recently put a section of .7mm steel wire between the sear and the receiver , this reduced the trigger pull down by 2lb and the sear no longer drags on the bolt when operating the action . This minor mod is also stable , no matter how hard I slam the butt on the floor the action stays cocked.
