Fellas seeing as how i am going to Edmonton tomorrow anyway, i was thinking of buying a .45-70 guide gun. Here is the kicker though. I bought one and its waiting for CFO approval. Now i don't want my money tied up in a gun that could be weeks or even months from approval. I was thinking of buying another one hoping this one won't go to the CFO's office and will just be a straight forward transfer like anyother gun i have bought. Then i would go back to the local store and ask for my money back. Whadda ya think??

IIRC I just called them mercilessly when I went through this silliness with my Ruger. I went through the 800-731-4000 but can't remember what extension I used.
