has anyone tried those TI rear charging handle receivers for the ruger 10/22?

my co worker is doing a ruger build right now and he was looking at getting one.
but when we where looking at the one i build the question came up about how easy it would be to reach the rear charging handle if you had a scope on the stock?

he's gonna be running it on the Boyd evolution stock, so the receiver is gonna be sitting pretty low in there to begin with.

we looked at mine, im running the Dlask receiver with a scope on it in the same stock and i couldn't see how he would be able to get to the rear charging handle to cycle it.

anyone have one of these that can comment on them??

here is a pic from the internet of the receiver im talking about.

Tactical Inc's web page with the CCH22 on it

Wanstalls carries these, so it should be ok to post the link so you guys can see what im talking about.

if you scroll down you can see a pic of the guy working the action with a scope on the gun..... and it dosnt loook comfy at all!

I wonder if the factory bolt hold open/auto bolt release switch still works on this or does it automatically hold the bolt open when pulled back? It says jams can be cleared with one hand while the other remains in shooting grip, but I don't want to assume that the charging handle is/has a catch to hold the bolt open and a slight pull back will "auto release". Pretty neat though that they have the hold in the back of the reciever to put a cleaning rod through from chamber to muzzle!
