"has been hunted with" seems like a bad thing on the EE - Why?

Hunted opens up the imagination from "used to abused".
Duncan's comment about buying used is valid as putting the first mark on a rifle will weigh on you more than if someone else is to blame.
For me to sell my Model 700 bought is 1965 as hunted without the round count rounded to the nearest 100 would still be a guess. Every bullet weigh (110, 125, 130, 150, 165, 168, 180 and 220) would account for at least 100 rounds of each but I would think 1500 in total would be closer. Plus US surplus was available at $2.00 for 20 for practise and every time I had $2 was an invitation to see the end of the box. I was like a drunk with a bottle . . . not happy until it was empty.
When accuracy started to go I rebarreled it then gave it to my son.

could range from Sat on the seat in the truck next to me to Fell off the tree stand or mountain lol. To me just an honest way to say that there's likely a couple marks on it, more of a working gun than a safe queen, pictures tell the tale.
