Has the price of once fired brass gone up that much??

Just like the oil market.
The price is artificially high, people hoard it thinking it is worth or will be worth more than it is...and eventually all the prices go up.
.10 is common per 100. But should only be .7 cents or $70 per 1000
Watch out for the brass that someone put in a tumbler to look all shiny, you pay double for those ones!

I bought 2000 cases on here last year for $40/1000

I saw the other day some already prepped brass (deprimed, trimmed and chamfered) at .20/case ($240 for 1200 shipped)

Gun shows are full of guys who think they're going to get rich selling stuff there. Mind you, the price of once fired brass is relative to the price of new brass and where you buy it. For example, Shooter's Choice wants $15.95 per 50 for new Remington .223 brass. Goble's wants $26.50 per 100 for new Winchester. Assuming they have any.

If someone is asking $20 per 100 for once fired, they will likely have it with them for a while. New brass is not that much more.

I am sure there will be more bulk once fired on the EE after the RCMP do their annual training :)

I remember not long ago I could get 5.56mm brass for $3.00 per 100 at the gun shows, and guys are now asking $20 per 100??? That's an increase of 660%..... Sheeeeesh....

They can ask whatever they want, it's only worth that much $ if someone actually buys it.

may as well buy new for that price.
