This has me thinking...
I have a couple of 5 gallon buckets of old Berdan stuff, mostly 8x57 and 303 Brit in the garage.
I've been meaning to find a recycler to take it to.
But this comment makes me wonder if there is a market for Berdan cases in some calibers.

Sorry for the thread-jack, OP. My opinion, pop it off, its not ultra rare.
 
New ppu 8mm is over $100 per bag. Someone would use it for loading. Lots of guys have the decapping tools these days and the primers are available and not too pricey.
