Hi all, I have been looking for either a 26” invector or invector plus barrel for a Light 12 but as you all know, they are not commonly available and when they are found, they are crazy expensive. I was wondering if any of you have experience with Hastings wadlock vent rib barrels. Are they appreciably heavier than the Browning interchangeable choke barrels? I see that Tradeex has them (28”) for $400 and was wondering if they are worth it? Bill

Yep, they're worth it.:) The Hastings (Verney-Carron made) barrels are very well made and perform as advertised. I reckon the weight of the new tube would be close to the Browning ones.

The one I got fer my 870 (Gracias Tradeex.) has a similar wall thickness but is made from better alloy steel.

I have been using Hastings bbl's on 2 model 12 winchesters since 1990 know makes a better shotgun bbl then they do bore die mentions are even and the bore is concentric from chamber to muzzle
