I've been playing around with the idea of getting an mp or mp-a and can't really get any information on them. Ive heard all but two fairly good reviews, and a lot of "It looks like a NovaTac knockoff." Any of you guys have any experience with this shotgun? Is it worth my time and money? I don't think I need the latest and greatest in M&P engineering, as the gun's mostly going to see service just plinking and shooting clays on the weekends.

Thanks,
Doog.

happy mp a'rrr

I've had mine for a few months, put lots of ammo through it, more than my pocket book wants to admit. It shoots/feeds flawlessly. The finish is excellent and the whole gun is very sturdy. The trigger is a bit heavy though and feels a little rough but I can live with it. I had to locktite the rail on after a few box's of slugs (no big deal). Other than that I thought it was an excellent purchase for the money, just don't get it from MoreGuns Supply, I made that mistake and got screwed for the 2nd one that was suppose to come with the first. Hatsan has a website with lots of info. just google it andI know there are quite a few vendors out there that can get the guns on order. I'd definitely buy another, which I might do, for that kind of money you'll definitely get your $$$ worth. Goodluck.

Here's a crappy pic of it sitting in my workshop.. :D

Can you get these with a mag extension, even if its pinned?

Well mine is pinned and it has the weight of loaded rounds in it.

It helps reduce recoil and IMO gives it a more finished look. In case you are wondering that is a modified ATI stock. Very easy to do. Needed it cause the original LOP on the stock was too long since I use a tac vest on my shotgun IPSC runs..

It also is great for shooting guests that want to adjust for their arms.
