Hatsan MPA chokes

So, I am entertaining the idea of a semi auto and the Hatsan seems to fit with what I want. I understand that chokes are available from the factory, but I can't seem to find anyone that sells them.

If they are to be Unobtanium, is there a comparable semi that will fit the bill? I'd like a semi, at least 20" barrel, pistol grip/collapsable stock (I can add that later if required), available chokes and if at all possible somewhere near the same price point as the Hatsan. Normally my Googlefu works pretty good, but this one is stumping me.

The MPA is shipped with a cylinder barrel and from what I know the NA version is not choke accepting.

Casey at Tac Ord will thread your barrel for Remchokes for something like $90.

Could it be threaded on the inside for remchokes and then keep the external threading for the door buster? If so...awesome

No idea, that would have to be discussed with Casey. I just wanted OP to know that it doesn't cost that much to get a barrel threaded for chokes.

I looked at the barrel of an MP-A here.. I don't *think* it would be do-able as the threading inside and out may leave it to thin. I am no gunsmith though so maybe send the inside & outside dimensions to Casey and see what he says about it???

Thanks for the info guys. I was at a gun show on the weekend and got to handle one. Very hard to leave it there. I have decided it it's the one I want, regardless of chokes. Even if I lost the door buster, $90 is very acceptable. It's nice to have options. Now I just have to save up some money.
