Hatsan MPA Front Sight Upgrade

Anyone know of an upgrade out there for the front sight on a Hatsan Escort MPA? I don't like how it looks, and the red fibre optic piece is too small and not visible.

I want to to remove the rear ghost ring, put a red dot on it, and have a nice bright (tritium?) front sight for a back up. If there's nothing out there, I'll just remove it and put a bit of paint on the nub that's left.

The same way you use a bead, except its elevated a bit off the barrel so you can see it while looking down the rail. Seems like a good backup sight to me.

The sight on a hatsan is about an inch above the barrel. The rail is 3/8 at the most above te barrel. You'll be shooting feet low at 10 yards?? Why not leave the ghost rings as a backup?

Oh so you want to put a bead on it. Makes more sense. I would suggest a taller than average bead to make up for the height of the rail. And yes I have had an mpa for over a year now. Love the sights. Was tagging a 6x6 steel plate at 50+ yards the other weekend. Reapetedly using the stock sights

Regarding your comment on nonsense. The only nonsense I see here is putting a red dot on a shotgun.
But that's just an opinion.

@ Dieseldawg I'm glad you like the sights it came with. Thanks for posting, despite adding nothing to the thread.

@ EL34/6L6 I think you mean on the rear sight? If so, then yes. I wouldn't want to alter it past the point of being able to return it to original config, so I'd just unscrew the ghost ring and save it.
