I have these on presale, arriving in 7-10 days. I took all the MPA's that were left so these 30 and existing dealer stocks are all that are left until the next batch in a few months.

Hi ,the next batch coming , at what price will the rifles be. Side note , maybe Norinco can start producing rear lug medium chrome lined barrels. I"m sure these rifles would sell very well in Canada.

Stupid question, but does this batch of SKSs come packed in cosmo? Wondering, as I noticed they are listed as refurbs and not new. Cheers.

SKS's, MPA's and M14's will start shipping shortly.

The SKS's are covered in a light grease.

Do you have a link to the takedown/cleaning procedure? This has always been my only hesitation in buying an SKS.

Search YouTube and download the manual, cleaning and working on the SKS is as easy as it gets. You'll be laughing at how easy it is once you get it. Enjoy your SKS buddy, it's a really fun gun to shoot.

The main thing to remember when cleaning cosmo out of an SKS is to completely take down the bolt. The firing pin has to be free to rattle in there once it's assembled again. You also want to get all the cosmo out of the chamber. Those are the 2 most important places to focus on.

Here's my 2nd pro-tip, don't use brake cleaner over the bath tub, it eats the gel coat and wrecks the entire unit. Ask me how I know lol

If you dont want to strip your bolt, get a 1ltr can of acetone from napa/can.tire/home depot ect.. And submerge the bolt for 20-30 mins. Use a big soup can, nothing plastic, not even abs pipe, acetone eats EVERYTHING!!

If you don't want to use chemicals to clean the bolt, submerge the bolt in boiling water a few times. It will melt the cosmo out. I then spray it down with WD-40. Ive never taken my bolt apart and it works just fine. I tend to avoid chem's since I live in an apartment and its difficult to use them with all the fumes.

Taking the bolt down requires like, 15 seconds of work. You apply a slight amount of force to the retaining pin, and then the pin comes out. There's nothing to it, why are you all so afraid of this? Taking a dump requires just as much mechanical skill, even more so when you clog the john

Well Im not going to lie, I just left it for the gf to handle, but that's probably why I've been single (except for the foreign girl who proposed to me because her visa expired)

I agree... the bolt is not that big, you can boil it in a small pot, remove it very hot and it will dry immediately. Then oil and done.
