Hatsan MPS A Barrel Length -18 or 20?

I am looking at buying a Hatsan MPS A shotgun and want as short a barrel as I can get. I see there is an 18 inch and 20 inch barrel offered (at least according to their website), however, all I can find is the 20 inch model for sale. I am I missing something? Are dealers measuring with the suppessor? (18 inch barrel +2 inches for supressor=20 inches?)

Sorry if I am missing something, but I am new to this and this will be my first firearm. Thanks in advance.

They are 20". Any particular reason you want the MPS model?
If you want short, I recently got the 14" Compact Escort and its really nice.

 
Suppressor? What suppressor? Suppressors are highly illegal, even potatoes. Now if you are referring to the flash hider, the dealers aren't doing any measuring. They read the box it came in. Barrel length does not include the flash hider.

Also, the 20" is not rifled.
 
I've only seen them in 20 inch that's what mine is( measured myself all barrel) . I took the flash suppressor off and put the thread protector on as I don't like the look of the factory suppressor. Looking for options for a brake instead of a suppressor.

Where did you find 14" Compact Escort?

Front fiber optic sight, and NO rear sight? Problem aiming?
