Hatsan Optima/Escort MP Pump 12ga

Hi all, Thinking this is my next purchase, anyone familiar with this shotgun?
Read a bunch of online reviews and so far cannot find any dislikes.

It might be decent {they're basically an economy version of the Fabarm tactical pumps} but it doesn't seem to offer anything over other pumps on the market, and like most Turkish shotguns I would be worried about parts availability.

I heard a rumor that the Turkish Gun factories are the top of the line regarding their Milling Machines & quality control. Keep in mind just a rumor.

Buddy has had an escort in their stainless/nickle finish for almost 3 years...20,000+ rounds of all types of loads, tons of slugs, without issue...not many parts to break on a pump and by them time you have broken or worn the out (takes $1000s worth of ammo) what is another few hundred for a new one? And then you will have a few extra parts for the new gun off the old one. WELL worth the (small) price tag!!!

The better Turkish shotgun companies make good stuff these days, even the likes of Benelli and FN source from them. Turkey has actually become the world capitol of shotgun production from what I've heard.

However they haven't really established themselves in North America yet, at least under their own brand names, and between that and somewhat of a language barrier it can be hard to order parts or obtain technical info at times.

I have an MP-A and wouldn't part with it. (I think the Wetherby SA-08 is the same shotgun just more money).
