Hi Again !

For those of you that are curious on what to mod on a Optima MP-A or not, here are some ideas..

After some thinking I decided to go with an ATI Tactical Stock. It came with 2 adapters for Winchester & Remington shotguns.

BTW - I got the ATI from "smacdonald" aka Scot a support dealer here @ CGN.

Anyhow I want to use this semi auto for 3 gun & IPSC shotgun matches.

Being on a cheep budget I decided to take a chance on the MP-A.

After a battery of testing at the range - I was happy with the results ie: please check out my friend unleashing rapidly 6 rounds:

Thats using 7 1/2 target load, no breaking in needed for the light stuff.

The pet peeve for me however was the nice stock that it comes with.

Its too long for my arms and non adjust. 14" LOP For me I need only 11.5" of LOP

So I swapped it and modded it with the ATI stock.

What you see so far is a mock up after I modded the adapter from the Winchester kit.

Whats next is a short bolt 3" with an allen key end to it so I can connect the stock to the shotgun.

More news to follow as I mod it up more.

Here is a before shot of the MP-A

No longer a mock up - its all good to go !!!

Solid and it fits my LOP or anybody else that wants to fire it down range !!!!
