Hatsan Optima

Does anyone know anything about the Turkish made "Hatsan Optima Marineguard' or "Aimguard" shotguns? I am thinking about buying one. Does anyone own one or know much about how they perform???

i've got one in the shop with a broken firing pin. 3 years old. i am still waiting for more than a few emails , to see if i can find one. nobody even shows a schematic as far as i can tell. if it ends up being one of these deals where somebody has to start making parts in their shop, well............................

I've been looking at one at Lake Huron Rod and Gun. The reviews when you can find them seem to be good. I heard that parts are available out of Mississauga. Might want to contact Brad at info below if you need parts.

combo gun

I have the hatsan combo shotgun.Wing shooting barrel and a turkey barrel came with it. this is the second year I have owned it. So far so good. My gunsmith said the barrel is well made after i had him port the turkey barrel. I paid about 475 for the gun which was a geed price. hopefully I have no problems with it. I've heard that they except benelli chokes as well. though I havn't tried mine came with 5 chokes
