Hatsan or Scorpio?

Hatsan for sure.
Both are budget priced guns, but the Hatsan has better feel and fit and finish. I own three of them myself, including the compact 14" model.

I just picked up a Hatsan MPA TS from fishing world in Hamilton for $425. They don't show it on the website but they got 6 in the other day. Happy with it overall. Like many of them it doesn't consistently cycle the lighter target loads but maybe after some break in. A touch of rust (?)on the top of the bolt but cleaned up with some scotch brite.

gunsmiths at al simmons said first 100-200 rounds use magnum 2-3/4 & 3 inch slugs to break it in, after that, keep the gas system completely dry of oil except for a very thin layer on the o-ring to keep it from drying up and cracking and after the break in is done, it should cycle target loads fine.

Looking at a short shotgun. Saw both of these at Frontier. Not much info on Scorpio! Anyone own one? Good? Bad? Priced well!

Love my Hatsan MPA-TS! Awesome unit in every way. I have hundreds of rounds down the pipe with no issues and it's one hell of a slug gun! ;)
