from my standard catalogue, sauer produced only one shotgun with double triggers... a model 60 description as follows " Model 60-- a 12, 16, or 20 guage double barrel boxlock shotgun produced in a variety of lengths with double triggers and manual extractors. blues with checkered stock. produced prior to WWII. " excellent-700, v.g.-625 good -550 fair -400 poor- 300. I can find no reference for marshwood. This might be a long defunct small producer. you may have to do alot of searching on that one.

Sauer guns are generally regarded as well made, as are AYA. Sauers are German, AYA is an old Spanish firm. I didn't know they ever collaborated. I'd roughly guess your guns value in the $1000 range. BUT that can vary a lot depending on details. Prospective buyers will want to know barrel length, chokes, and stock dimensions - LOP and drop at point of comb and heel. recoil pad? One full length picure will help too.
Never heard of Marshwood, pics may help.
I'm actually kinda interested in the Sauer/AYA, please send PM if you'd like to discuss.

sent a pm with the info to him about marshwood, but it was a house brand produced by the crescent firearms company for the marshwood/rodgers firearms company in norwich, conn. They produced shotguns for alot of small distributors and stores. A good, inexpensive american made double.
