Need some help finding a complete bolt for a savage rifle. it is a newer model 40 varminter in .22 Hornet. No luck at Western gun parts
 
If Savage sells you a new bolt they want to make sure the headspace is correct (for safety) . For this they need the barreled action. Why don't you ask them if they have a Canadian Repair centre / dealer that you could sent it too. If not ask for instructions regarding sending it to them for repairs. You may have to contact the Burea of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms for a temp import permit. No big deal.
 
Any new bolt will require fitting by a smithy. They are not drop in parts.
