Have all the M44 Mosin's dried up? Anyone know if there will be any imported anytime soon? I went through all the sponsors and couldn't find any.

There are some polish ones on the EE. I have one, they are first rate. Some say the nicest M44s ever built

As of now M44 will not be imported into Canada. All go to USA they pay top bucks for those.

How much are they going for on the EE.

I got a Polish one from Epps for $175, and it is pretty mint. Bore is shiny but slightly pitted.

Shoots pretty well though.

I looked everywhere and couldn't find one, and almost went with a 91/30 for the price. I was gonna chop it, and see if Epps would recrown it for me, and they suggested I take a look at this one.

The only ####ty thing about these polish ones is the ugly stock, but I sanded it all down and refinished it. I'm pretty happy.

Only issue now is dealing with the heavy bolt lift. I'm about to cut the mainspring a couple coils. We shall see what happens.

Guess I got lucky.
