Have I been out of the .22 game for that long?

Was just in Walmart here in Williams Lake looking at .22LR and the Federal 525 round bricks were labeled at $28.99

I didn't think Ive been out of shooting rimfire for that long

What happened to the sub $20 bricks?

Got a brick at le barons for $19.98. Kinda sub 20 but not really.
Oddly enough my Husky .22 likes the cheaper ammo. I bought winchester target ($22/500 if I remember right) last time and my groups are getting better. Now that could be to due to practice. First 1000 of that 1300 where the Winchester the last 300 are the cheaper ones by like a couple of bucks.
