I just picked up this item after seeing a guy using one at the range. It loads and entire mag of 10 rounds in about 10 seconds (probably less if you're Jerry Michlik).

I can't wait to try it!

btw...don't bother with Amazon, the prices offered there (3rd party) are ridiculous. I got mine from BennyLewis.ca or you can go to CGN sponsor https://www.firearmsoutletcanada.com/ets-gen-ii-universal-magazine-loader-9mm-40s-w.html#.XNnqL6QpC00

The ETS Group page for the loader, with video, is at https://www.etsgroup.us/ETS-Group-C-A-M-Loader-p/etscam-9-40.htm

Don't forget to lightly oil the points they show in their video. It seams to get smoother and easier with use. I use it with my Beretta 92 mags.

I bought one as well, absolutely fabulous tool. Works without issue using Beretta APX mags, as stated oil points in directions. So simply you can use it with one hand.

FirearmsouletCanada carries them as well.

I did oil it, but it’s been very stiff with my M&P 9mm mags. That’s with dummy ammo (snap caps), though they told me it would wear in. Right now I’ve got the best part of 1K rounds of Blazer Brass with steel cases and it DOESN’T like that. I’ll have to use it up and go back to brass cartridges.

A guy at my range got one, it liked some mags better than others. It was also pretty new though so couldn't have been worn in but I haven't seen him out with it since and it's been a couple months now.

I have one. I love it. It takes a tenth of the time of a maglula.

It's not the loader that needs breaking in, it's the mags. The effort required to use the loader is directly related to the strength of your magazine springs. When I'm loading my G19 mags, I can tell without even looking which of the mags are the ones that have 2K+ rounds and which have under 1K.

On brand new magazines the loader can be pretty difficult, some of my mags would only load 9 rounds until they broke in a bit. The tenth round would just pop out when you remove the mag from the loader. I've bruised my chest loading some brand new P226 mags...

It also requires that I store my ammo in the original ammo boxes rather than dump it all into an ammo can. This means my ammo now takes up a lot more space in my safe. But it's worth it to me to spend so much less time loading mags.

So it's not a miracle tool. You still need to use some elbow grease to get mags loaded it simply takes a fraction of the time.
