As an example, if one has a Glock, is something like the Glock Armorers course of any value to the target shooting end user?

How about other companies, Sig, S&W etc, do all the bigger companies have the courses and do any of them offer them in Canada?

Most manufacturers won't allow civilians to take their armorers courses. Don't know why, they're just LE only. More knowledge is ALWAYS a good thing. That said, the AGI videos are awesome.

PS, why'd you change your name to Assault Force???

I took the Sig course (and a few others) Sig was the only one in Canada that I took that was not LE/Mil only.

As for value - who much do you shoot, and how much do you value knowing how to maintain your weapon beyond just the cleaning level?

No

But I do almost anything on my guns. First Youtube ai my friend and I go very slowly. As I work for me Time isn't a problem.....

I don't have all the equipement needed to do complete jobs, but I buy the tools I need everytime. Now with internet there is a lot of infos at your fingertips

I have taken the Sig course several times to keep my certification current. I have also taken a few of their other courses. Some of their courses offered outside their Academy are for LE or dealers only but the classes at the Academy are for anyone. On my last course there, there were civillians, LE and even some people from the Canadian military. As a Canadian you have to pay for a clearance from the US State Dept. so I usually list all the courses I'm interested in even if I don't take them. Ideally you can get a couple of courses you are interested in and take them back to back.
