Having firearm delivered when I'm not at home

I was wondering if I order a non restricted firearm via ups and it's delivered when I'm not at home does it go to my local Canada post office? Or somewhere else?


If it goes to my post office I assume I'm the one that needs to pick it up?
 
UPS is not Canada post. One has nothing to do with the other. Call UPS and ask them what is their delivery policy if no one is home at the time. UPS does deliver in the evenings (around my area at least) unlike Canada Post.

sorry I should have been more specific.

My question is this. Does the fact that it's a firearm mean ups would not follow the regular practice of droping the package off at my Canada post office?

What area are you in that UPS drops off packages at the post office?

Around here if nobody is home when the come to deliver they leave a slip and you have the choice of going to their distribution centre to pick it up or waiting for them to make a second attempt to deliver it.

Rural Ontario, the nearest distribution center is 1 hour away lol so
it's nice of them to do tht.



I'm just not sure if they'd extend the same courtesy in the case of a firearm?
